FlowMon 1.0.3 Release Notes
1 Introduction
The release notes for flowmon-1.0.3 package contains a summary of the changes made since flowmon-1.0.2 package. It describes recently added, changed or deleted tools or other features of FlowMon project.

2 What's new
FlowMon 1.0.3 is a maintenance release for users of FlowMon 1.0.2 release, which provides the following updates relative to 1.0.2:
2.1 Hardware (firmware)
- MCS files are now installed in ${PREFIX}/mcs directory
- fixed PCI bus problem generating gigabit flows, new firmware revision -> HW : 0x00000006

2.2 Software
- old NetFlow v9 flow exporter program removed from package, please use flowmon_nf9 exporter instead of flowexporter
- script for loading kernel modules netflow_ph1_modules renamed to netflow_ph1_lkm
- added FlowMon configuration file (flowmon.conf) to configure the probe behaviour
- added FlowMon probe init.d script (flowmon.rc) to start up automatically the probe at the machine's boot time
- documentation rewriten and extended
3 Upgrading from previous releases of FlowMon package
If you're upgrading from a previous release of FlowMon package please perform a complete reinstall. Read the README file for more information.
