FlowMon 1.1.0 Released
Flowmon 1.1.0 package is available for download. This release contains several improvements over the 1.0.3 version and, most importantly, introduces support for the new hardware - COMBO6X motherboards and COMBO-4SFPRO interface cards.
COMBO6X and COMBO-4SFPRO
New hardware features
- support for COMBO6X motherboard and COMBO-4SFPRO interface card,
- COMBO6X handles 1GE traffic at line rate in both directions and for all packet sizes
- incoming port (0/1) is included in exported NetFlow data
- fixed IP packet length for packets < 60B
New software features
- new configuration tools (supersede old tools)
- flowmonctl tool to setup and control FlowMon HW
- flowmonlkm tool to load kernel drivers
- flowmon tool to start up FlowMon probe
- flowmon-nf5/9
- flow anonymisation added
- added interface ID to flow records
- kernel drivers are now SMP compliant (2.6.x kernels)
- PowerPC DMA support for reading flows from HW
- documentation extended (man pages, README, ERRATA)
