New technical reports
Two technical reports related to the FlowMon probe were recently published by CESNET.
FlowMon 1.1.0 Released
Flowmon 1.1.0 package is available for download. This release contains several improvements over the 1.0.3 version and, most importantly, introduces support for the new hardware - COMBO6X motherboards and COMBO-4SFPRO interface cards.
Added support for MPLS
The FlowMon probe is now able to operate on links with MPLS, monitoring MPLS-encapsulated packets along with plain IPv4 and IPv6.
FlowMon is a trademark
FlowMon was registered as a trademark by the Czech Industrial Property Office.
FlowMon running on GE at wire speed
The new version of Header Field Extractor (HFE2) is able to process Gigabit Ethernet traffic at wire speed even for small packets.
Demo at 2nd GÉANT2 Technical Worshop
FlowMon probe was presented at the Second GÉANT2 Technical Workshop in Cambridge as a part of the security toolset that is being developed by the JRA2 activity.

FlowMon design for new COMBO cards
A new FlowMon firmware design is available for the COMBO6X motherboard and COMBO-4SFPRO interface card. It is able to process 2 million packets per second.
